Series R Mineral Insulated RTD

Mineral Insulated RTD's are known for their excellent mechanical durability and resistance to electrical breakdown. Probe sheaths can be bent most any angle without special equipment. The Series R RTD's are offered in a variety of configuration to meet your application. For smaller sheath diameters, and transition fitting is used between the cold end of the sheath and the extension wires. This fitting is 1-1/4" long by 1/4" OD for 1/8" and smaller sheath diameters, 1-1/2" long by 3/8" OD for 3/16" and 1/4" sheath diameters. Tip temperatures can be as high as 650°C (1202°F), while fiberglass extension wire is limited to 450°C (842°F).
