Thermowells

Thermowells are protective devices used to house temperature sensor probes and allow for accurate and safe temperature measurement. Thermowells are commonly used in a variety of industrial, commercial, and laboratory applications. Omega Engineering offers a selection of thermowells for both threaded and socket-weld designs – featuring bore diameters of 0.260” and 0.385” for ¼” and 3/8” diameter elements. Our thermowells are designed to ensure accuracy and reliability and are available in a variety of materials – from stainless steel to Hastelloy – to accommodate a range of application requirements. They offer greater durability and longer life and our Lagging Extension Thermowells are ideal for high-vibration applications. We also provide test and limited space thermowells as well as sanitary thermowells for use in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
