Gages - Dial

Dial Gages are mechanical instruments that use a physical pointer and a graduated scale to display measurements. They are often preferred in harsh environments where batteries might fail, in high-vibration settings, or for applications where "at-a-glance" monitoring of needle movement is more intuitive for the operator than a digital readout.

The collection includes a wide variety of industrial pressure gages, such as the Series SG1, SG3, and SGY for standard industrial use, the Series LPG3 for low-pressure applications, and the Series SGX & SGF which feature stainless steel construction for better corrosion resistance.

The Series 7000B Spirahelic® uses a unique direct-drive design with a spiral-wound Bourdon tube. Unlike traditional gages, it has no complex linkages or gears that can wear out or break, making it exceptionally durable and resistant to shock and vibration.

The Series TRI Tridicator is a "3-in-1" analog gage designed primarily for boiler and hot water heating systems. It simultaneously measures and displays pressure (psi and kPa) and temperature (Fahrenheit and Celsius) on a single dial, saving space and reducing the number of required pipe penetrations.

Models like the Series SGC2 utilize a spiral-shaped sensing element. This design is compact and highly reliable for specific industrial monitoring tasks where a standard circular Bourdon tube might not be as effective or where a specific dial orientation is needed.

Mechanical gages are susceptible to physical wear, metal fatigue, and calibration shift due to over-pressurization.
