The Series SF Sight Flow Transmitter combines visual flow indication with an electronic or gauge output, allowing both human observation and remote monitoring. Its sight tube allows operators to see flow in real time, while the transmitter component sends flow status or rate to control systems. Built for rugged usage, it balances visibility with automation.
Key Features:
Sight-tube for direct visual confirmation of flow
Transmitter output (e.g. switch, analog signal) for remote monitoring or alarms
Durable materials for wetted parts that can handle typical fluid media
Easy maintainability and likely modular design
Clear scale or indicator inside the sight glass for flow rate or presence
Applications:
Monitoring flow in pipelines, lubrication, coolant systems, etc.
Systems requiring both manual operator observation and remote control or alerting
Industrial processes where flow must be both visually and electronically tracked
Preventing dry run or low-flow conditions in pumps or systems
- Integrates tangential turbine technology with hermetically sealed circuitry to provide accurate flow measurement and control in the harshest environments
- 2-wire loop-powered design transmits a 4 to 20 mA signal proportional to flow rate for remote flow monitoring
- Clear polycarbonate viewing cover option for visible indication of flow
- 316 SS cover offers added protection with pressure limit up to 500 psig (34 bar)
- LED power indication, adjustable zero and span, polarity protection and over current limiting
- Accurately measures flow in both directions and can be mounted in any orientation
