The Series PLS2 Paddle Level Switch uses a rotating paddle mechanism to detect the presence or absence of granular solids, powders, or viscous materials within hoppers and bins. When material fills the chamber and impedes paddle movement, the switch triggers an alarm or control signal. Designed with rugged materials and reliable motor drive, it offers long life in abrasive or dusty environments. Easy to adjust and calibrate, it’s widely used for backup alarms, bin‑full detection, and process interruption prevention in bulk material handling.
Key Features:
Paddle mechanism for detection of solids or granulated material
Robust design for dusty, abrasive, or industrial environments
Adjustable sensitivity and simple calibration
Control signal output to alarm systems, conveyors, or material handling controls
Protects against overfilling, bridging, or material flow failure in bins, hoppers, or feeders
- 3 sensitivity settings
• Top or side mountable
• Brushless synchronous motor: Assures long term reliability and efficiency
• Motor shuts off when paddle stalls
• Screw cover: For easy access with no worries about losing bolts or screws
