Overview
This differential pressure gauge uses two Bourdon tube elements in a parallel-entry configuration, made entirely of stainless steel for all media-wetted parts. The design allows simultaneous measurement of two pressures (high side and low side), and the dial shows both independently plus the differential value. The parallel-entry measuring system means both tubes are exposed to the pressurized fluid separately, giving a true differential (not just gauge minus gauge). It's built for rugged industrial environments where corrosion resistance, high static pressure capability, and reliable mechanical performance are needed. The casing is designed to protect internal components, often with options for liquid filling to dampen vibration and protect accuracy under dynamic loads.
Product Applications
-
Monitoring of differential pressure across filters in fluid and gas lines (e.g. HVAC, water filtration, oil / gas filtration) to detect blockages or maintenance needs.
-
Measuring pressure drop across pumps, heat exchangers, valves or membranes to assess performance or diagnose issues.
-
Use in process plants where fluid or gas media are aggressive (corrosive), since stainless steel wetted parts resist corrosion.
-
Applications requiring durability under high static pressures while also accurately capturing small differences in pressure, such as flow measurement or level measurement by differential means.
-
Using in harsh industrial settings with vibration or pulsation, where optional liquid-filled case helps stabilize readings.
