Overview
This Differential Pressure Gauge features a dual Bourdon-tube arrangement in a parallel-entry measuring system, with full stainless steel construction for both wetted parts and housing. It is engineered for precise measurement of the pressure difference between two points, while also handling the static (over-) pressure present on both sides. Thanks to stainless steel materials, this gauge resists corrosion, is robust against environmental aggressors, and delivers stable readings across a wide range of industrial conditions. The parallel entry ports allow for easier installation in confined spaces or for retrofit on existing pipework.
Key Benefits and Uses
-
High Corrosion Resistance: All stainless steel wetted and housing parts protect against corrosion and chemical attack, resulting in longer service life in harsh media.
-
Dual Pressure Handling: Ability to endure static pressure on both sides means it can safely be used where the measured differential pressure is small compared to the system’s static pressure.
-
Parallel Entry Design: Ports positioned in parallel (adjacent or side-by-side) simplify installation and maintenance, especially in limited space or retrofit scenarios.
-
Durable Accuracy: Bourdon tubes provide reliable mechanical measurement with good accuracy; stainless steel helps maintain stability over time.
-
Vibration and Pulsation Tolerance: The mechanical simplicity and robust build allow the gauge to tolerate vibration and pressure fluctuations without undue wear or erratic readings.
-
Traceability and Calibration: The gauge is compatible with calibration to recognized standards, enabling users to maintain measurement traceability and meet quality or regulatory requirements.
